Description

IHG Hotels and Resorts Malta is looking for an outstanding Talent Acquisition Executive to support us in our mission to attract, acquire and retain the best talents for our hotels.

As a Talent Acquisition Executive, you will contribute to the continuous growth of our hotels, InterContinental, Holiday Inn Express and voco Malta and support our employer brand initiatives to attract the candidates who can exceed guest expectations.

In this position, you will work in a fast-paced environment whilst having the opportunity to learn and grow within a globally renowned brand. You will also get the opportunity to travel for recruitment trips and experience new hotel openings.

Main Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively and professionally represent IHG in the external market as an employer of choice for candidates.
  • Initiate and develop strong relationships with hiring manager to identify and forecast short term and long term requisitions.
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
  • Be fully involved in the recruitment lifecycle on sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring and on boarding employees, while factoring in the long-term goals of an organization.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives and proactively source candidates utilizing all the resources available, whilst identifying additional and new, financially feasible, sources.
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Develop robust Standard Operating Procedures and continually refine current processes.
  • Undertake thorough, fair and well-evidenced interviews with potential candidates.
  • Build positive network with external stakeholder and maintain positive working relationships
  • Report on KPI’s, projects and deliverables to the internal stakeholders.
  • Support potential candidates through the work permit process to ensure smooth and effective candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Executive or similar role in a fast-paced organisation
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques, evaluation methods and experience recruiting on various levels
  • Experience managing partnerships with both external and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in creating awareness of the company brand and establishing professional relationships with candidates.
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines with effective time management.
  • Availability to travel at short notice when and as required
  • Capability to problem solve while being solution oriented.
