Description

We are currently accepting applications for the position of Storekeeper to join our Maintenance Stores team on a full-time basis.

The selected candidates will be responsible to:-

  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods from our maintenance stores.
  • Compile records of supply transactions and verify that supplies received are listed on requisitions and invoices.
  • Ensure the security and control of all incoming and outgoing goods from maintenance stores.
  • Purchase goods or pick up parts from vendors and suppliers when required.
  • Receive goods, storing, labelling and recording of goods into the stocks system.
  • Maintains proficient store room records, issuing and re-ordering of stock to ensure that stock is maintained to the established par levels.
  • Perform Stock Takes when and as required.
  • Ensure the replenishment of essential stock and fast-moving parts.
  • Adhere to Finance policies and procedures for purchasing of goods and other relevant Company policies.
  • Ensures that the storerooms are kept clean and safe, to comply with company and local authority’s hygiene, health and safety standards.

Candidates applying for this position must be aware that:-

  • It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day.
  • Carrying or lifting items and pushing and/or pulling trolleys is required.
  • Reading and writing abilities and basic math skills are required.
  • Ability to use computer is required for this position.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Working hours will be based on 40hrs per week from Monday to Friday.
