Description

Our Maintenance department is looking for a Plant Technician to join the team. This post calls for a dynamic, career-oriented individual willing to develop his career within the Maintenance Department.

Responsibilities:

· Perform technical repairs and fault finding in our plant equipment and machinery.

· Address technical maintenance and repairs of the property in a timely manner.

· Perform regular checks to technical areas as directed by the management.

· Report issues, regular monitoring as needed through the appropriate channels.

· Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical or electrical problems should they arise.

· Upholding the basic upkeep of all kitchen areas by ensuring all appliances and electrical equipment, such as refrigerators, cold rooms and ovens are in working order.

· Maintain the HVAC of the Hotel and conduct repairs when necessary.

· Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on light fixtures and electrical distribution boards.

· Maintain the Domestic Hot Water, heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.

· Perform routine preventive maintenance procedures as per schedule.

· Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free.

Skills and Experience :

  • Similar hotel experience with refrigeration and HVAC experience.
  • Possession of at least electrical license A.
  • Strong knowledge of electricity and mechanical plant.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation for fault finding of equipment.
  • Able to work on own initiative, as well as in a team.
  • Able to communicate fluently in English both verbal and written.
  • Able to work evening, nights and weekends as per our business demands.
